Jasna 04/Apparitions

galerija 90/60/90, Pogon Jedinstvo, 30/12/2014

A Neolithic site in her hometown triggers reflections of archaeological remains, bones, graves and the  memory of objects. The neolithic site Vučedol in the vicinity of Vukovar, East Croatia forms the basis for Jasna’s reflections on the transience of history and the nature of astral exploration. A neolithic astral calendar and records of protection from vampires gives Jasna the materials with which to reflect on the interpretation of the archaeological object, and the possibility of the bones found in mass graves being discovered in the distant future.
