Minor Speculations is the first phase of the project began in Bucharest in 2016. which takes as its starting point the figure of a female explorer seen from behind. In front of her are the fragments of material and immaterial culture which she connects in ways that we do not necessarily see. Her findings are the covers of Sci Fi magazines in Romania, neolithic figurines in south eastern Europe, dioramas from natural history museums, urban landscapes, the sounds of the Danube delta and imaginary sound files with which she tries to piece together a fragile narrative.
Using drawing, text, video and sound this is part of the research project dealing with history, memory, ghosts …
or something like that.
The space is divided into an exhibition space and a studio space where Nicole Hewitt and Ivan Slipčević work.
